Three men have pleaded not guilty to the murder of 64-year-old Thomas Dooley in Co. Offaly.

He was found dead in his home in Edenderry in February 2014.

Thomas ‘Toddy’ Dooley died from injuries to his upper body and head.

The father-of-three was found on his living room couch at his home at Sister Senan Court in Edenderry on February 16, 2014.

James Davy of Thornhill Meadows in Celbridge, Sean Davy of Clonmullen Drive in Edenderry and Matthew Cummins of Churchview Heights in Edenderry all pleaded not guilty to his murder today.

A jury of eight men and four women was sworn in to hear their trial which is due to take up to four weeks.
