Man accused of murdering former partner on her way to creche changes his plea in court

A man has admitted trying to murder his ex-partner as she was on her way to work at a crèche near her home in Dublin in September 2014.

Denis Leahy of Queen Street, Dublin 7, initially denied the charge but changed his plea shortly after the prosecution opened its case this afternoon.
