A man has been remanded in custody charged over a gun and ammunition seizure after gardai stopped a car in Dublin at the weekend.

A man has been remanded in custody charged over a gun and ammunition seizure after gardai stopped a car in Dublin at the weekend.

The car was searched near the Naas Dual carriageway shortly before 3pm on Saturday and during course of a search a firearm and ammunition were recovered.
