Fire fighters contain blaze at Dublin house

Five units of the Dublin Fire Brigade were called to a major fire at a 10-bedroom house last night thought to be owned by Nama.

The alarm was raised just after 7pm after a blaze broke out at the unoccupied home in Rathcoole.

Five pumps from Tallaght, Dolphin's Barn, Rathfarnam and Dun Laoghaire attended the blaze, which took over five hours to bring under control.

The Fire Brigade said it could not comment on whether the case is being treated as suspicious.
