A paraglider has been killed in a tragic accident in the Gormanston area of Co Meath.

A paraglider has been killed in a tragic accident in the Gormanston area of Co Meath.

It happened just after 6pm yesterday. The man who died was in his early 40s.

It is believed the paraglider came down at Benn Head near the Gormanston army camp.

An air accident investigation has been launched into the incident.
