Judge excludes himself from assault trial of former Fine Gael TD

A judge has withdrawn from the trial of former Fine Gael TD Sean Conlon.

Mr Conlon faces charges of assault causing harm in relation to an incident, in which it is alleged that Enda Duffy of Annahia, Ballybay, Monaghan was injured with a broken pint glass at Conlon's family pub in Ballybay, Co Monaghan, on August 23 last year.
