Update 10.48am: Health Minister Simon Harris said today that Garda Commissioner Noirin O'Sullivan had clearly supported whistleblower Sgt. Maurice McCabe.

The Commissioner issued a statement today denying that she accused Sgt. McCabe of being malicious.
