Two people have been arrested after a woman was shot in the neck after a bullet was fired through the front window of her boyfriend’s family home, writes Eoin English of the Irish Examiner.
The victim, named by neighbours as Ciara Sheehan, who is in her 20s, remained in a serious but stable condition in Cork University Hospital (CUH) last night after the shooting incident, linked to a feud on the northside of Cork City.
