Gardaí arrest man after Westmeath heroin seizure

Gardaí have seized heroin worth €45,000 and arrested one man as part of an operation in Westmeath.

Officers stopped a car near Kinnegad at around 7.30pm yesterday evening.

The 35-year-old driver, the sole occupant of the car, was arrested and taken to Mullingar Garda Station.
