Unemployment rate down 1.3% to 8.4% compared to last year

The unemployment rate has fallen to 8.4%, down 1.3% since the same time last year.

There were almost 26,000 less unemployed people in April when compared to April 2015.

9.9% of men were unemployed last month compared to 6.6% of women.

There was also a 3% drop in the number of young people unemployed compared to last year.
