The Iona Institute say the flatmates of a Belfast woman
The woman bought two types of drugs online, took them and miscarried in July, 2014.
Her housemates rang the police after discovering the baby's remains.
Maria Steen, from the Iona Institute, says it is unfair the two flatmates in this tragic case have been vilified on social media.
She said: "They saw their housemate coming down the stairs with a plastic bag, putting it in the bin and some days later when it came to putting the bin out, they saw the bag, opened it and saw the remains of a perfectly formed little baby boy.
"They could see his features, his fingers, his toes, his little nose - one said his facial features were perfect.
"And particularly so for one of the girls who had recently suffered a miscarriage, I mean that was really traumatic for her."
