A minute’s applause on the fifth minute of the Dublin V Donegal match in Croke Park was honoured this evening for the victims of the Buncrana tragedy.

It was a spellbinding moment that would send shivers down your spine as the whole stadium erupted into clapping while the match began to play.

It was a very simple gesture that will certainly mean a lot to those close to the terrible tragedy that claimed the lives of five family members when the car they were in slipped off the pier in Buncrana.
