Lights switched off as world marks Earth Hour

Lights have been switched off in homes across the globe to raise awareness about the impact of energy use on climate change.
Families and organisations have turned off their lights until 9:30pm for the global Earth Hour campaign, organised by the World Wide Fund for Nature.
The Eiffel Tower, the Empire State Building and the Sydney Opera House and 350 other iconic buildings are taking part.

All non-essential lights at Áras an Uachtaráin are off to mark the event.
Green Party leader Eamon Ryan said it is one small way of highlighting the effects of global warming.
"If we look at what's working - look at the likes of the Luas system in Dublin, look at the likes of the green bins we've put in, they work, if you look at the amount of renewable power we've had, it's working," he said.
"We can do this, we just need to do more of what's working.
"I think if we focus on that in a positive way, rather than just seeing it as a negative story, then we might do more and do better and we can be good at this."
