Avoca to create 80 new jobs with new store in Meath

Eighty new jobs are to be created as Avoca opens a new store in Dunboyne, Co Meath.

€3m is being invested in the new store which will open in the Autumn,

It will bring total employment in Avoca to more than 900 employees.

Simon Pratt, managing director of Avoca, said: "This is our 12th store and our largest and most ambitious to date. The location is superb and will attract consumers from West Dublin, Meath, Kildare and beyond."

The new shop will be situated on a four-acre site and will have parking for 300 cars.
