Council hoping to complete clean-up of Dublin streets after busy St Patrick's Day

Dublin City Council says St Patrick's Day was the busiest day of the year for its Waste Management Services.

The Council disputes that it didn't have enough cleaning staff to maintain the city centre, but admits it was difficult to service litter bins due to the volume of people viewing the parade.
