Father of infant who died in Killarney apartment passes away in hospital

The father of an 11-month-old baby, who died in Killarney on Sunday, has died in hospital.

The father of an 11-month-old baby, who died in Killarney on Sunday, has passed away in hospital.

Gardaí have confirmed the 32-year-old man died at Cork University Hospital this afternoon.

He was found in the apartment with serious injuries.

Gardaí also discovered the body of an 11-month-old baby boy - later named as Karol Rozycki - at the apartment on Upper High Street.

The infant was treated at the scene by emergency services personnel, but pronounced dead a short time later.
