Tesco recalls flavoured butters over food poisoning bug concerns

Tesco has recalled a range of flavoured butters amid concerns they could be contaminated with a potentially serious food poisoning bug.

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) said the butters may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, which can cause illness particularly among vulnerable groups such as pregnant women, unborn and newborn babies, those aged over 60 and anyone with reduced immunity.
