Drugs and equipment used to break into houses seized at Garda checkpoint

Gardaí have arrested a man in his late 20s after they seized a quantity of cocaine at a checkpoint in Co Wexford yesterday.

He is due to appear at a sitting of Gorey District Court later today.

The man was detained after gardaí stopped a car near Gorey yesterday afternoon.

During the course of a routine search they discovered two bags of cocaine with an estimated street value of €30,000.

They also found equipment used to break into houses.
