Young boy in hospital after collision with truck in Dublin

A young boy has been taken to hospital following a collision involving a truck in Dublin.

The collision happened this morning in a shopping centre car park in Ongar, Blanchardstown at around 9am.

It is understood the boy, reported to be five years old and to have been on his way to school, was taken to Temple Street Children's Hospital.

His condition is unknown.

gardaí from Blanchardstown garda station are investigating the collision and have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
