Man arrested following burglary in Co Meath

Gardaí have made an arrest in an investigation into a burglary in Ashbourne, Co Meath.

The burglary took place yesterday afternoon.

A 38-year-old man has been arrested by gardaí in connection to the incident.

He is currently being detained under Provisions of Section 4 –Criminal Justice Act 1984 at Ashbourne Garda Station.

A car, which Gardaí believe was used in the burglary was recovered along with property.

The man will appear before Navan District Court today.
