Insurers get two-week deadline to present options for flood-hit areas

The insurance industry has two weeks to respond to requests from the Government on insuring those living in flood-prone areas.

The Taoiseach wants them to reflect on the current level of insurance provided in areas where flood protection works have taken place, and also to look at their approach to removable flood defences.
