Fresh elections expected to be announced at IFA board meeting
It is expected that a meeting of the IFA's Executive Board later today will lead to full elections for the organisation's board in the coming months.
A protest by IFA members is also planned ahead of the meeting.
Yesterday senior members of the association's board indicated that they would step down and allow for full elections to take place.
It follows the resignation of the IFA chief executive and former President Eddie Downey last November over revelations on salaries.
Former general secretary Pat Smith also stepped down having sparked the controversy.
