Bill ensuring rent certainty signed into law

President Michael D Higgins has signed into law the bill aimed at achieving rent certainty in the market.

It includes measures which will ensure that apartments are built in line with new standards from the Department of the Environment.

The bill also enforces measures included in the Government's rent certainty plans.

The Planning and Development Bill ammendment was signed by the President this morning.
