Emergency services attend collisions in Westmeath and Laois
Emergency services are at the scene of a serious collision in County Westmeath.
It is understood one person has been injured in the crash in the village of Ballinalack.
The main Longford to Westmeath road is closed in Ballinalack and motorists are being asked to take an alternative route.

The crash happened at about 3.40pm this afternoon.
In Laois, emergency services are dealing with a collision on the M7 between Junction 21 (Borris-in-Ossory) and Junction 19 (M8).
The crash has been moved to the hard shoulder.
