A 36-year-old woman has been arrested in Belfast in connection with the murder of a man 14 years ago.

26-year-old David Clarke, who had learning difficulties, was found beaten to death at his flat in the city in June 2001.

Police believe he had been bullied in the weeks leading up to his death.

The investigation was reopened last month on foot of new information and a number of arrests have been made.

The 36-year-old woman was detained in the north of city this morning by detectives from the Serious Crime Branch.
