Odour main complaint about EPA waste sites

92% of complaints about Environmental Protection Agency licensed waste sites last year related to odour.

A report on Waste Enforcement released by the agency today shows that fire prevention remains a key priority at waste facilities.

There were six fires at the facilities in 2014.

539 complaints were received about the 169 sites and 270 inspections were carried out.
