Gardaí hunt for masked raiders

A hunt is underway for masked raiders who tied up and threatened an elderly brother and sister in Co Kildare.

Up to 4 men entered the siblings' home in Thomastown East, Rathangan on Monday night.

The gang, who are believed to have been armed with golf clubs, demanded cash and escaped with a sum of money in a getaway car.

The woman freed herself, then untied her brother.

There have been no arrests yet.
