Fire breaks out at Dublin guest house

At least one person has been taken to hospital after a fire at a guest house in north Dublin.

Four units of Dublin Fire Brigade fought the blaze at Hedigans Guest House on Hollybrook Road in Clontarf shortly before 2am this morning.

The fire started in a downstairs bedroom, and there was extensive damage to the building.

It is understood a number of families were evacuated from the building early this morning.
