Putting children in crèche does not negatively affect development, says ESRI study

Sending your child to a childminder or crèche does not have any negative affect on their development, according to a new study from the ESRI.

The latest chapter in the Growing up in Ireland study has found no difference in cognitive abilities at age five when you compare children who have been cared for at home and those in childcare.
