Shooting in Belfast on Monagh Road

An investigation has been launched into a shooting incident in Belfast this evening.

A man wearing dark clothing and a mask is reported to have been seen firing a number of shots at a white van, parked on the Monagh Road at about 4.15pm.

Three men were in the van at the time of the shooting, but all escaped without injury.

Police officers are urging anyone with information to contact the non emergency number 101.
