Taoiseach confirms Government will not proceed with Universal Health Insurance

The Taoiseach has confirmed the coalition accepts an ESRI report and will not proceed with their long-standing plan for Universal Health Insurance.

Enda Kenny has said the Government is still committed to Universal Healthcare, paid for by universal insurance, but on a more affordable basis.
