Three arrested after cocaine seizure in Co Cork

Three men have been arrested following the seizure of a quantity of cocaine in Cork.

A consignment of 800 grams of cocaine with a street value of €56,000 was seized in Cobh as part of a joint intelligence-led operation between Revenue and Gardai.

The drugs are said to have originated in Johannesburg.

The three men aged between 30 and 35 are being detained at Cobh Garda Station under the Drug Trafficking Act.
