The Burren announced as winner of "Foodie Town" award

The Burren in Co Clare has been named as Ireland's best destination for food-lovers.

The area was today announced as winner of the 2015 "Foodie Town" award.

The judges said the area's bustling farmers markets, unique food story and spirit of collaboration helped win the prize.
