Date set for trial of former Anglo boss Sean FitzPatrick

Former Anglo Irish Bank chairman Sean FitzPatrick will go on trial next May on charges of breaching the Companies Act.

The 66-year-old from Whitshed Road, Greystones, Co Wicklow has pleaded not guilty to 27 offences including making a misleading, false or deceptive statement to auditors and furnishing false information between 2002 and 2007.
