GardaI appeal for information about 2004 murder

A fresh appeal has been launched for information about a murder in the South-East in 2004.

The body of 25-year-old Paiche Onyemaechi was found in a field near Brenar Bridge, Piltown, Co. Kilkenny on 23rd July 2004.

She had been living in Waterford with her husband and two children since 2001.

Gardaí in Kilkenny are appealing for anyone who may have information, particularly those from the African community living in Waterford at the time, to come forward.

They also want to try to identify the person who sent an anonymous letter to Gardaí with information on the culprits in 2004.

Members of the public can contact us at them at Thomastown Garda Station on 056 7754150 or any Garda Station.
