Man shot dead in Spain was Gary Hutch, nephew to The Monk

A Dublin criminal has been confirmed as the man shot dead yesterday in Spain.

Thirty-four-year-old Gary Hutch was gunned down in an apartment complex near Marbella at 11.30am yesterday morning.

It is reported his attacker wore a balaclava and escaped in a car which was later found abandoned after the shooting in Miraflores.

It is understood Hutch was shot three times near a swimming pool at the gated apartment complex where he lived.

Gary Hutch is the nephew of former crime boss Gerry ‘The Monk’ Hutch

It is reported that death threats had recently been made against Gary Hutch.
