Dublin criminal with stab wounds 'dumped outside Beaumont Hospital'

A known criminal was thrown from a car outside a Dublin hospital having been stabbed at a funeral, according to reports today.

It is understood there was gunshot damage on the vehicle, which left the man at Beaumont Hospital before driving off around 12pm yesterday.

Eye witnesses say the car had a smashed window and bullet holes in the side.

The man who was dropped off at the hospital was suffering from serious, but not life-threatening, stab wounds to his neck and hands.

According to the Herald, the victim, who cannot be named for legal reasons, had been in court earlier this year for possession of a large quantity of cannabis and is currently facing drug charges.

It is reported the man, described in the report as a "mid-level criminal" was attending a friend's funeral when he was attacked.
