Remand prisoner with links to Ireland escapes from UK hospital

A remand prisoner with known links to Ireland has gone on the run in the UK.

Thomas Quinn, 30, was on remand in Liverpool when he fled from Aintree University Hospital where he was receiving treatment for a hand injury.
