Man arrested in Cork in connection with €15k theft from Lar Corbett's pub

Gardaí are questioning a 48-year-old man in connection with the theft of up to €15,000 from the pub of an All-Ireland winning Tippeary hurler.

The theft happened in Lar Corbett's pub on August 28.

This appeal lead to the arrest of the man in Cork city yesterday afternoon, and he has now been transferred to Thurles Garda Station for questioning.
