The LÉ Niamh has docked at the port of Pozzallo in Sicily.

Yesterday, the crew rescued 329 people from three boats off the coast of Libya.

The 317 men, 11 women and one child on board the vessel are receiving water, food and medical assistance.

The vessel has now rescued a total of 3,343 refugees since commencing its mission in the Mediterranean.
