A 35-year-old man is to appear before a sitting of Naas District Court this morning charged in connection with a serious assault in Naas on Saturday night.

A man is due in court this morning charged in connection with a weekend assault in County Kildare after which another man died in hospital.

58-year-old Patsy Kelly was attacked at Sarto Park in Naas on Saturday night.
