Corkman in induced coma after alleged assault in Sydney
An Irish man is reported to be in a serious condition in hospital in Sydney after an alleged assault.
The Sydney Morning Herald said 29-year-old Jason Cierans from Cork was found unconscious outside a pub in the suburb of Bondi Junction.
It is reported that police responded to reports of a brawl at Bronte Road, Bondi Junction at around 1am local time on Saturday.
Mr Cierans is said to be in an induced coma, in a critical condition.
Two men have been arrested, one has been charged with affray, the other with recklessly causing grievous bodily harm.
