Court to make decision on children of Jason Corbett
The family of a Limerick man killed in America will find out today if they can bring his children home.
Jason Corbett lost his life earlier this month following a domestic incident in North Carolina and police say they are not looking for anyone outside the home in relation to his death.
A court hearing takes place later today to decide whether Mr Corbett's children Jack and Sarah can return to Ireland with their aunt and her husband.
Mr Corbett's sister Tracey Lynch and her husband David were given guardianship of the children following a court decision on Wednesday night.
They had been in the care of their stepmother Molly Martens until then and the court will decide today if her bid for custody of the children will be thrown out.
Mr Corbett's family say they will not bury him until his children can be present for his funeral.
