A 21-year-old man has died in a traffic collision near Ballymena, County Antrim.

A 21-year-old man has died in a traffic collision near Ballymena, County Antrim.

The incident occurred at Moorfields Road at about 1pm and involved a car and a coach.

The road remains closed, and police are urging anyone with information to contact them.

Meanwhile, four people were injured in a road traffic collision near Mayobridge, County Down this afternoon.

The incident involved a number of motorcycles and a car and happened shortly before 2pm.

One of the motorcyclists was airlifted by police helicopter to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast.

The road remains closed at this time.
