Cannabis worth €750,000 found in Meath warehouse

Gardaí uncovered cannabis worth €750,000 in a warehouse in Ashbourne, Co Meath today.

One man in his 40s has been arrested.

Separately, two people were released and a man in his 40s remains in custody after a drugs seizure in South Dublin yesterday.

Cocaine, ecstasy and sleeping pills also worth around €750,000 were found after searches at a number of houses in Walkinstown.

In Cork, Customs officers have seized €40,000 worth of cocaine in an operation at Cork Airport.
