Farmers seek Hen Harrier compensation
A group of TDs and Senators is being asked to improve compensation for farmers whose lands are designated for the protection of the Hen Harrier.
Over 167,000 hectares are designated to protect the bird of prey and farmers say in many cases, this prevents them from being able to use their land.
