Parents in Cork city centre have said they are now in a strong position to make a case to the Department of Education for an Educate Together secondary school in the city area.

Volunteers involved in the campaign for a multi-denominational school in the city collected 170 ‘expressions of interest’ from parents at an event this weekend, bringing the total number of signatures to over 550.
