Dáil's health committee to meet next week on Prime Time allegations

The Dáil's health committee will meet next week to discuss claims that staff at two Dublin hospitals accepted gifts and holidays from medical supplier Eurosurgical.

Payments have been suspended to the company pending the outcome of an investigation following the allegations made in an RTÉ Prime Time documentary on Thursday night.

Two staff members at St Vincent's Hospital have been put off duty, while the Beacon Hospital has put one person on leave, following the allegations.

Representatives from the HSE have also been invited to respond to the claims.
