Prisoner still at large after escaping from Clare court

A prisoner remains on the loose after escaping from Ennis District Court yesterday.

He and another inmate of Limerick Prison had been on transport at the Co Clare facility when they made off yesterday afternoon.

One man has been recaptured, while a second remains at large.

The Gardaí and the Prison Service have launched investigations into the incident.
