Man charged with attempted murder during Belfast riot

A man has been charged with two counts of attempted murder after a teenager became trapped under a car in north Belfast.
A 16-year-old girl was knocked down and others injured during the incident in Ardoyne last night.
Police and local's managed to lift the vehicle off her, but she's now being treated for a smashed pelvis.
The 61-year-old accused is thought to be a member of the Orange Order and is due to appear in Belfast Magistrates’ Court in the morning.
Trouble flared after a loyal order parade was blocked from marching up a contested strip of North Belfast.
